We are Experiencing Technical Difficulties with Our Phone System

We want to make everyone aware that our phone carrier’s system is not properly routing phone calls to our office. It seems to be an issue primarily with land lines and local numbers in the Hagerstown area. Although the issue is not limited to just this area. It seems that cell phones are not affected and have no trouble getting through to our office. We are in the process of trying to find a new carrier for our VoIP phone service. If you can recommend or have any experience with any companies that do not start with a “V” please let us know!

Welcoming Yasmeen Alkordi

We’re pleased to welcome Shepherd University senior, Yasmeen Alkordi, to our team as an intern this semester. Originally from Tampa, Florida, Yasmeen currently lives in Shepherdstown and will be graduating this year with a BA in Graphic Design. In the few weeks she’s already been with us, she’s been a great asset working with us on branding, ad designs, T-shirts, vehicle graphics, and more. As a painter and illustrator, her artistic eye and eagerness to learn puts her right at home among Team Icon. We’re excited to work with her throughout her spring semester.

Happy anniversary, Kim!

This week marks 15 years since Kim Kukiela joined our team to make it stronger and more complete. Kim has a keen eye for design, with experience encompassing all facets of design including: branding, collateral materials, event program booklets, T-shirts, websites, displays and more. She’s also our resident illustrator, creating custom illustrations for logos, posters, magazine covers, packaging labels, maps, and anything else you can imagine. Her dedication to excelling in her work, along with the constant encouragement she offers every member of our team, makes her an invaluable asset to our employees, company, and clients.

Here’s to many more years of working together to bring excellent personalized design to our community!

Potomac River Atlas Available Online and In Print

The Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has announced that the new Potomac River Atlas of Washington County is now available FREE online, and also available in a new FREE mobile app format. We’re proud to have created the online version of the atlas, along with the mobile platform.

New Potomac River Atlas

(Partnership Project of County GIS Office, Icon Graphics, and CVB)

The Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) officially unveiled the new Potomac River Atlas at the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Tuesday May 28. The project was a collaboration of the county’s GIS Office, Icon Graphics and the CVB.

Copies of the atlas are available at the Visitor Welcome Center for $5. Look for the new site in June!
